Enough With The Pink

Ok, ladies..question: how many times have you been online shopping for a new women’s motorcycle jacket and all that comes across your screen is the unseemly pink jackets?!

We have always tried to figure out who is in charge of design? let alone R&D in all of these big companies? You would think that maybe, just maybe if (insert motorcycle jacket company) actually cared about its growing women rider demographic they would spend the time and a little bit of money to satisfied the female motorcycle riders. Key word being…female.

Not to take anything away from the guys, but we would like motorcycle jackets in all different shapes, sizes and colors as well. Girls love pink that is true, but you also know what other colors girls love…… all of them.

As a female motorcycle rider we want to look good while riding. We see so many female riders out there sacrificing their safety by wearing little to no gear. We believe its due to the lack of diversity in the cut, style and colorway in female motorcycle jackets.

Are we crazy? Are we looking to much into this? Has pink really become a loathsome color for us women now? Not sure, but we do know we would love to see more diversity in these companies. And here at Chic Riot we are hoping to change this industry for the better! So ladies gear up because you are so worth it!
