I am a designer by profession. My other passions are martial arts and marine life (I love scuba diving!). I'm a big Sci Fi fan - the classics - and don't think anything gets much better than Star Trek. Currently re-watching Star Trek: TNG.
Who or what got you into riding?
I found myself newly single, and for the first time in years, felt like I had a newfound freedom I had to take advantage of. That summer I did so many things I had been wanting to do for so long - I thought learning to ride would be a fun weekend off my checklist - but after that MSF course weekend, I was hooked. Been riding almost 4 years now.
What do you ride? And what does your bike say about you?
I ride for the exciting, freeing feeling I only get while riding. My bike says I love to ride the mountains, and all its nicks and bumps says I'm not shy about trying really hard to improve my skills.
How does it feel to be a female rider in this male dominated sport/lifestyle?
Sometimes it can feel lonely, since I feel I connect most with other girls and they are harder to find in this lifestyle, but now that I've met some they have been extremely rewarding relationships.
What is the most memorable experience or most fun you've had since riding?
Probably every time I hit the mountain curves, or the most memorable may have been finally getting slow speed skills down (on a Harley!) with Jerry Palladino. Still working on getting it down with my own bike!
Bonus question: What's the last movie you watched that made you laughed out loud?
Hmm... well I very rarely watch movies. It's hard for me to stay on my couch long enough even for a whole good tv episode! But the last movie I saw was Aladdin in theaters... I don't remember laughing out loud but I was very happy to watch that while dressed as Jasmine ;D
